We build websites that generate new customers, not just traffic. The process starts with us taking time to understand your business, customers, and goals. We believe this is critical to building a website that is both reflective of your brand and specific to the audience you are trying to reach.
We start with a questionnaire that helps answer the basic question about your business, then we work with you to gain in-depth understanding of the key areas of your business:

- Elevator Speech (If one does not exist)
- An elevator speech is critical since you have less than 10 seconds to capture their attention.
The design process starts with wireframes, they do not provide the look and feel of the website, but are rather like a sketch. They help identify the content areas of the website and also help draw out what’s important.
The next step in the process after wireframes is to create mood boards. Moods boards provide you with different fonts, colors and textures to choose from. They help identify the overall direction for how the website will look and feel. We will provide you with three different mood boards, with the goal to get to one. What’s interesting is that often time the final mood boards contain elements from all three of them.
The final step in the design process is to create the visual design for the home and subpages based on the wireframes and mood boards. We provide you with three initial designs of the home page and then based on your feedback we make a round of revisions to the initial design, with the goal of selecting one design to move forward with. Then we will allow up to three revisions to the selected design, before moving on to the web development phase.
Once the design is complete and approved we will begin to develop the website. We use the WordPress content management system (CMS) to make it easy for you to maintain and update your website. We also make sure your website works on iPhone and Android for both mobile and tablet devices.

This can be the most difficult part of the process to keep on schedule. We can work with you to create a schedule for your team or agency to write the content or we can have our writers schedule interviews and write the content for you.
In either case, the process starts with creating a content inventory that documents existing and proposed content. We provide templates that aid in the process of gathering content and use Google docs to track changes and edits. Once the content is written and approved we will have our editor do one final review and mark the document complete in the content inventory.
The world is more visual today than ever. We believe that professional photography makes a real difference in promoting your brand. We will have our professional photographer take photos of your physical location, staff and products.
